Terms and Conditions
The Services
Silver Oak Stables will provide client with access to one or two riding class per week (depending on which program you sign up for), and one unmounted group horsemanship class per month. The riding classes will be private one-on-one or small group (2-3 students) class with a school horse, and run 45-60 minutes. Silver Oak Stables Riding School will be closed 5 weeks per year to give the class horses a break, to run special events, and to give riding instructors a break. The weeks that are off will be communicated ahead of time.
Riders will be automatically grouped together with riders of similar ability and level. This is paramount to our barn culture and philosophy of creating a community that encourages camaraderie, friendship and support. We feel this leads to higher quality riding, classes, and just plain more fun.
Riders will start with a private class until their instructor recommends they are ready to join an appropriate group class.
Clients will receive access to a 30 minute goal setting session every Quarter.
Client Requirements
Client must show up on time.
Client must be wearing proper riding attire - boots with heels, an ASTM/ SEI certified riding helmet, and breeches
Client must be coachable, positive, and have a good attitude!
We are trying to build a family-like community full of people like YOU, and after the 4th class we generally like to ask for the name of 1 person who you would like us to contact and invite to join the program.
Compensation and Payment Terms
Our monthly tuition price is based on the annual value. Client will put a credit or debit card on file, and it will be automatically charged $320 tuition per month for once a week classes, or $560 for twice a week classes, or $160 for every other week class on our school horses. Charges will begin on the first day of enrollment and continue every month thereafter. Prices are subject to change and Client will be notified at least 30 days before any changes take place. If client needs to change the credit card on file, please call and leave the new credit card number, expiration date, and CVC on the voicemail.
Classes will be operating on a monthly basis, and you will be billed monthly for your tuition until you notify us that you wish to cancel. We have incredible expenses and financial commitments to be able to offer this program- and we depend on students who can make a commitment- as well as give us plenty of notice if they are quitting so that we have time to pull students in from the waiting list to take their place. There is no reason why a student will not be financially committed for the entire month, even if they are unable to make it to classes. Students must cancel in writing by sending an email for their cancellation to be valid.
Scheduling
Client will receive a dedicated time and a day of the week where there will be an appropriate school horse and with a group of riders with similar ability reserved each week. Please remember that Silver Oak Stables will be closed 5 weeks per year.
We do not allow make up classes if you miss your class. We are unable to offer make-up classes because our operational costs remain the same regardless of whether a student attends their class. We are dedicated to providing fair wages for our instructors and ensuring the care and well-being of our horses, all of which are carefully budgeted based on the number of enrolled students. The only exception is if a class needs to be canceled by the instructor for any reason, and we will do our best to reschedule your class. Monthly tuition is still due in full when student misses their classes. The best way to get the most value out of the program is to make it a priority and a commitment not to miss your dedicated class time(s).
If client would like to make a long-term change to their dedicated class time, they may do so a maximum of 1 time in a 90 day period by calling or texting and leaving a voicemail.
Cancellation.
This agreement may be canceled by providing at least thirty (30) days’ prior written notice to Silver Oak Stables. After 30 days notice is given, client is obligated to pay the tuition for those 30 days, and may attend all classes, or will be charged a $250 cancellation fee. Student will be continually re-enrolled at their current upfront/ monthly rate until Silver Oak Stables is contacted via email or text message and the payment plan is updated.
Upon canceling your subscription, we will schedule an exit interview to hear any useful feedback from you. We are always trying to improve our program and value client feedback.
No Guarantee
The company does not warrant or guarantee any specific level of performance or results. The results of your riding program are largely based on the efforts of the student.
